Jacky Smith

Project Director

Jacky brings over 25 years of broad experience to the Eighty20 team, with a strong creative approach, outstanding partnership management experience and a passion for supporting brands to achieve growth.

Prior to joining our team, Jacky was the Marketing and Development Officer at Sunshine Coast Council. In this role Jacky led the rebrand of Venue 114, programming theatre and performances for the community and the development of new events such as the In Conversation series.

In addition to working for Council, Jacky worked in Adelaide as a marketing and promotions contractor and worked on several nationally recognised events over a number of years. These included a documentary film conference and festival called DocWeek; Womadelaide; The Australian Performing Arts Market ASSITEJ, a world children’s arts festival and Come Out a children’s art festival.

Over the course of her career Jacky had her own business as a film publicity consultant and her clients included Twentieth Century Fox and Hoyts Film Distribution.
